RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At FlowersGhana, we work tirelessly to deliver the freshest, most vibrant flowers and plants for every occasion. Because our products are perishable by nature, our return and refund policies reflect the realities of working with fresh, handcrafted arrangements. Please review the policy below carefully before placing your order.
1. Perishable Goods — No Returns on Completed Bouquets
Flowers are living, perishable products. Once we have designed and assembled your bouquet or arrangement, it cannot be returned, reversed, or taken back. This applies whether the order was placed in error, the wrong product was selected, or a change of mind occurs after the arrangement has been prepared.
- Custom Craftsmanship: Every bouquet is handcrafted to order using fresh-cut flowers. Once assembled, the arrangement cannot be disassembled or reused for another order.
- Quality Assurance: Each arrangement is carefully inspected before leaving our shop to ensure it meets our freshness and quality standards.
2. Recipient Availability — Your Responsibility
When you place an order, please ensure that your recipient is available and willing to receive the delivery on the scheduled date. We take every reasonable step to complete deliveries, including calling ahead and visiting the provided location.
- Recipient Unavailable: If we attempt delivery and the recipient is not at the specified location, or cannot be reached despite our reasonable efforts, we are not obligated to issue a refund. We will have fulfilled our part of the transaction by preparing and attempting delivery of the order.
- Recipient Refuses Delivery: If we contact the recipient or arrive at their location and they decline or refuse to accept the gift, we are under no obligation to refund your order. The bouquet was made, the delivery was attempted, and our service was rendered.
- Resale Attempt: In cases where a delivery cannot be completed (due to recipient unavailability or refusal), we will make a good-faith effort to sell the arrangement to another customer. If we are able to find a buyer within a reasonable timeframe, we will issue you a refund for the resold item. However, if we are unable to find a buyer, no refund can be provided, as the perishable product will have lost its commercial value.
3. Add-On Items — Non-Refundable
Add-on items such as chocolates, teddy bears, wines, and other gift accessories are sourced from third-party suppliers specifically for your order.
- No Refunds on Add-Ons: Once your order has been placed and add-on items have been purchased from our suppliers, we cannot refund you for these items. This is because these purchases are made on your behalf and are non-returnable to the supplier.
- Order Carefully: Please review your add-on selections before completing checkout to ensure accuracy.
4. Substitution Policy
- Unavailable Items: Occasionally, the exact flowers, plants, or containers you selected may be out of stock or seasonally unavailable.
- Equal or Higher Value: In such cases, we will substitute with items of equal or greater value to maintain the overall look and feel of your arrangement.
- Freshest Blooms First: Our priority is always to provide a beautiful bouquet featuring the freshest available flowers or plants.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
- Case-by-Case Basis: We understand that unique situations may arise. If you believe your case warrants special consideration, please contact our team.
- Approval Process: Our order manager will review your claim and determine whether a return or refund is appropriate based on the specific circumstances.
- Our Discretion: Any refund issued under exceptional circumstances is at the sole discretion of FlowersGhana and is not guaranteed.
6. Before You Order — Important Reminders
- Confirm that the recipient’s address and contact details are accurate.
- Ensure the recipient will be available to receive the delivery on the chosen date.
- Double-check your add-on item selections before completing your purchase.
- If sending a surprise gift, consider whether the recipient is likely to accept the delivery.
