Deletion instructions for everyone, everywhere
Last updated: 8 September 2026
This page forms part of the FlowersGH Limited privacy policy.
Every person whose personal information we hold can use the deletion process below, regardless of country, nationality, residence, or how they used our services. This includes people in Ghana and every other country where our website or apps are accessible; Facebook or Google sign-in users; registered customers; guest shoppers; gift recipients; people who contact us on WhatsApp; and users of our ChatGPT or other assistant integrations. You do not need an active account, access to Facebook, a purchase, or residence in California or the European Union to make a request. Any additional rights under local law remain available.
Your request can cover your FlowersGhana account and profile, Facebook or Google connection data held by us, browser-to-customer associations, contact and delivery details, support or WhatsApp communications held by us, uploaded greetings, and other identifiable information we control. We may retain records required for an active order, accounting or legal obligations, disputes, or fraud and security needs, as described in our privacy policy retention section. Where deletion would affect an active delivery, we will explain this. Deletion of our records does not itself delete messages or records independently controlled by Meta, Google, OpenAI, payment providers, or another person.
When you choose Facebook Login, we request public-profile and email permissions. Depending on your Facebook settings and the information Meta supplies, we receive identifiers, your name, profile picture, and email address to create or identify your FlowersGhana account and authenticate your sign-in. Our Facebook Login integration does not request permission to read your private Facebook messages or publish to your Facebook profile.
To delete Facebook-derived data held by FlowersGhana, follow section 1 and mention Facebook Login. You may also remove FlowersGhana from Facebook's Apps and websites settings to stop the connection. Removing the connection alone does not delete the FlowersGhana account or previous orders; the same email deletion process remains available even after you remove the app or lose access to Facebook.
If you contact FlowersGhana on WhatsApp, we and Meta/WhatsApp process your phone number, profile information made available to us, message content and attachments, and message delivery or read information to handle the conversation and provide customer support. Where we enable automated order alerts through the WhatsApp Business Platform, those alerts use your phone number and relevant order or delivery details to provide the updates you have agreed to receive.
Providing a delivery phone number or accepting this privacy policy does not by itself opt you into WhatsApp messages. We require the recipient's permission for business-initiated WhatsApp messaging. You can ask us to stop WhatsApp messages by replying “STOP” or contacting support@flowersghana.com. Marketing choices are separate from necessary order communications through other available channels. To request deletion of WhatsApp-related records held by FlowersGhana, follow section 1. Meta/WhatsApp also processes data under its own privacy policy; deleting our copy does not delete copies held in your chat or independently by Meta.
